Race Day Details

Schedule - Saturday, May 10, 2008

6:30am - Packet Pickup begins
7:30am - 30K Run begins
8:00 am - Open Space Fair in Heritage Park begins
8:00 to 9:30am - Runner/Walker Check-In and Late Registration for 12K and 5ks
10:00am - 12K Run and Walk begins
10:30am - 5K Run and Walk begins
10:45am - 5K Dog Walk begins
12:00 noon** - Awards Ceremony

Start and Finish Location
Pioneer-Heritage Park (aka Anchor Park) located at the south end of the Downtown Helena Walking Mall, next to the Lewis & Clark County Library. See Courses for descriptions and maps of the events.

Awards Ceremony
The awards ceremony will immediately follow the close of both the events. First and second place male and female finishers in each age group will be awarded handmade trophies and Prickly Pear Land Trust ball caps. The Dog Walk is non-competitive. See Results page for past year's race times. Those who solicit pledges totaling $500 or more will be thanked with a custom-fit jacket that can be worn with pride. These exclusive jackets will have the Prickly Pear Land Trust logo and are only available to top pledge getters. Many thanks to The Base Camp for the donation of these custom jackets.

Open Space Fair
The Second Annual Open Space Fair is a great place to explore lots of what Helena has to offer. Interactive booths, fun for kids, great food and a festive atmosphere await you in Heritage Park. The Open Space Fair begins at 8:00am.
