Don’t Fence Me In Trail Run - No Ordinary Race!

It’s the Twelfth Anniversary of your favorite Trail Run!

Join us on May 14th, 2011 for the 12th Anniversary of Helena’s favorite trail run! This event boasts a 30K, 12K, 5K and 5K Dog Walk. All events start and end in downtown Helena, but thanks to our trail system being so nearby, all courses are mostly on trails. In addition to being a great event, Don’t Fence Me In is a big fundraiser for Prickly Pear Land Trust, who maintains and expands the trail system on which the race is run.

Costs are:
30K - $50
12K - $25
5K - $25
5K Dog Walk - $25 plus $5 per dog

Help us celebrate our 12th Anniversary! We strongly encourage you to solicit donations on behalf of the Land Trust because the trails and open space you’ll run on are maintained by Prickly Pear Land Trust. Please “go the extra mile” and solicit support from your family and friends. See our pledges page for information. A PPLT hoodie will be given for raising $100. If you raise $500 or more, a custom softshell jacket emblazoned with the Don’t Fence Me In logo will be yours to cherish. Most importantly you’ll be supporting Prickly Pear Land Trust. We’re taking the lead in connecting land and people. Now go hit up your friends for the trails you love!

* The fine print: Pledges must be collected and turned in to PPLT before you run. Please collect names and current address of pledgers so we can send them a tax deduction letter. We’re happy to do whatever we can to make pledge getting easy. Call us if you’d like any support, like logos or letterhead and whatnot. Thank you SO MUCH for your efforts!

Canine Competitors Welcome!

Dogs and dog lovers come on down and wag your tails for the trails you love at Pioneer Heritage Park on Saturday, May 14th. Bring your leashes and get ready to hit the trails with your four legged family members.

• Race fee for dogs is $5.00 and our canine competitors are encouraged to collect pledges too!
• Dogs welcome on the 5K Dog Walk only.
• All dogs must register to participate and be leashed at all times.
